Research Overview
Advanced Materials and processes for Sustainable Fuel and Chemical Production
We have the research group at CSIR-AMPRI, Bhopal. The transition to a sustainable energy and chemical industry relies heavily on the development of advanced materials that can facilitate cleaner, more efficient, and economically viable processes. Our research focuses on integration of chemistry, materials science, engineering, and emerging technologies to address pressing environmental and industrial challenges.

Our Vision
To develop advanced materials and sustainable chemical processes that enable the efficient production of clean fuels and value-added chemicals from renewable resources. The research integrates innovative catalyst design, electro and photochemical technologies, advanced manufacturing, and intelligent process engineering to convert carbon dioxide, water, nitrogen, and biomass into green hydrogen, sustainable fuels, and industrially important chemicals. By combining fundamental science with scalable reactor and manufacturing technologies, we aims to accelerate the transition toward carbon-neutral chemical manufacturing, support India's Net Zero 2070 commitment, and translate scientific innovations into impactful industrial and societal solutions.
